What your filter cartridge is made of
Two carefully selected materials that filter effectively without compromising durability.
Cotton filter
At the heart of the cartridge, several layers of dense cotton act as a real net for impurities. Water gradually passes through each layer, which traps chlorine, limescale, and mineral particles before they reach your skin and hair. This multi-layer structure allows for deep filtration while letting water flow freely, without ever reducing spray pressure. The cotton used is selected for its density and retention capacity, to ensure consistent filtration from the first day of use through to the recommended filter replacement.
PP and ABS housing
The outer shell of the cartridge is molded from food-grade polypropylene (PP), a plastic known for its chemical inertness: it doesn't alter the taste or composition of the water passing through it, even after prolonged exposure. The end caps and structural elements are made from eco-friendly ABS, a sturdy material chosen for its resistance to impact and temperature variation, ensuring good mechanical strength under the continuous pressure of your water supply. Together, these two materials form a watertight, durable housing that protects the cotton filter throughout its lifespan, without ever releasing particles or unwanted substances into the water you use every day.
